15five is a B2B SaaS tools helping HR leaders drive employee efficiency and performance. Planning presented an opportunity for design to demonstrate the impact of optimizing existing features vs. building new ones to reduce onboarding time and increase retention.

Discovery testing with pilot groups showed WAU double and an unexpected spike in the newest subscription offering.

As a design manager, I led discovery and worked closely with Cat, a rockstar product designer, who helped pressure test and further exploration on a lot of this work.

Discovery approach & development plan

Designs were informed directly by user insights via manager and IC jobs-to-be done interviews and customer support insights, which helped translated and aligned buyer needs with folx who use the app most frequently. iterations and sequencing informed by pilot insights.

Evaluate, Rollout, Iterate

I also developed a plan to test the new designs with a small target group of users and outlined how insights may inform rollout and iteration sequencing.
